The longest journey I've ever made to say "Happy Birthday" to someone. Across the ocean for 900 km. Special thanks for Imesh for the planning, suggestions and everything. No thanks buat bapak2 fiskal yang memeriksa fiskal gue dengan sangat teliti. Damn!

3.30 pm : Supervisor gue masih minta ini itu buat presentasi. Dan gue masih berkutat dengan komputer kampus gue untuk nyiapin semua yang dia butuh. Cukup cemas. Untung 10 menit kemudian semua selesai dan gue kabur naek 179. Lucky me, di Boon Lay antrian taksi kosong.

4.45 Check in. I dont care where I'll be sitting I just want to get on the plane!

6.30 Take off. Finally! Pemeriksaan panjang dan ruwet. Damn.

7.00 (Jakarta Time) : Tanah Indonesia. 30 minutes behind the schedule. It's allright got plenty of time. Untuk pertama kalinya gw lewat imigrasi less than 15 minutes. Dan karena gue cuma bawa satu tas, gw gak perlu nungguin baggage. Keluar, langsung tanya ama mas mas silverbird apa masi bisa book nanti jam 11.

7.15 : Solat. Berdoa yang khusyu' moga moga gak ada plan yang gagal. Ke wartel, beli nomer terus makan di hoka hoka bento. Telpon imesh. Damn bad news, she couldn't found any cake delivery for tonight.

8.00 : Busy calling Hilton, ShangRi-La...Damn no one provide bday cake for tonite. Damn! Imesh called suggests me to go to Cafe Wien.

8.30 : Take cab...Plaza Senayan here I come.

9.30 : Sitting comfortably at Coffee Bean with a bday cake from Cafe Wien on my hand. Got almost two hours to kill. Suddenly, my sister called. Nadia's driver waiting for me at the airport. What the!!. Lucky, it was her father told the friver to wait for me at the airport.

10.30 : Nadia's Driver arrived at the PS. Don't know what to do. Just find another place to sit and wait until 12.

11.00 : We found a place near nadia's house.

11.55 : Goin to nadia's place.

12.00 :
"Nad, hallo. Bangun deh..coba ke pintu depan liat ada apa"
"Apaan sih..udah tidur nih.."
"Udah sebentar aja..bangun deh..."
"aaaaaah...ya udah ya udah ya udah..aku bangun"
...door opened
"gilaaaaa gilaaaaaaaaa bangeeeet"

Gw gak tau berapa banyak kata gila banget itu kesebut. Yang jelas sih, jauh lebih banyak dari kata terima kasih. heuheauhaeuaehuae at least for half an hour cuma kata kata gila yang keluar dari mulutnya. Not until 45 minutes later I got my first thanks and my welcome hug. :)

...aku harap kamu seneng. jujurnya aku takut kalo kedatanganku bukan sesuatu yang kamu ingin. bahkan mungkin kamu tidak ingin aku datang. aku cuma ingin make your birthday special as you did to several of my birthdays. at least I know exactly your 23rd birthday is not ruined by a single quarrel over anything. I do really hope you are happy on your birthday.....
