If you got nothing to do and browsing through my archive list on the right, you may note that my first blog post was in 18th February 2003, few days after I graduated. Today, my blog has 200 over posts comprising nothing but bullshitting and craps. For me, my blog has become one of my identities. An address where people can always found me and contact me.

It all started with a girl
I always have a passion about web and graphic designing. But due to limited talent and resources, I never really got into it. Back in 1998, I publish my first website full of stupid and lousy images. Well back then, websites are not as graphic-intense or animation-intense as this time. Enrolled to NTU, website designing is not a hobby anymore. It was one of my ways to collect ECA points.

Right after graduate, I started to get close with a girl. A girl who that time has reasonable amount of passion [1] about web design. So one of the ways to smooth my way is to dig up again my web design skills. So stupid. Then, during that period, I started this blog.

It was an online journal that nobody will ever like to read
Pada awalnya, blog gue gak lebih dari sebuah jurnal harian yang berisi semua hal ga penting seperti hari ini gue makan apa, malemnya gue nonton apa, tadi siang gue boker cebok apa nggak [2]. Gue yakin kalo loe cukup tidak ada kerjaan dan baca archive gue yang awal-awal, loe pasti berpendapat "oh my god, this blog is full of sh*t". Sampe di suatu hari gue start to wandering around. Blog hopping istilah kerennya. Dan gue baru menyadari bahwa some blogs are just very enjoyable to read. Dan, gue mulai berpikir bahwa well the blog was there to be read by other people, so I should make them enjoying themselves when they visit my blog. Contohnya mbak ini yang blognya memang jadi favourite gue sejak dulu karena dia mampu menceritakan dengan indah semua pengalaman dan pendapatnya dia akan sesuatu.

Ok, since then, I knew that I had to write nicely. Dan disitu gue mulai menemukan sebuah terapi yang dari dulu T sudah sarankan pada saya, menulis. Pertanyaannya setelah itu, apa yang akan saya tulis. lalu saya teringat seorang guru saya, yang menulis di sebuah kartu kenangannya buat saya. Dia menulis, Think, Bimo. And say it out loud to people what you think. Well, I am a Mr-have-opinion-about-everything so writing about what I think always amusing for me.

Now...
After 200 over posts, My blog is still full of crap. No doubt about it. My blog is stil about my personal opinions and stories. My blog is not one of the blogs that has the power to change the world like this blog. My blog was never chosen to be reviewed in newspaper like this blog. My blog is not a blog which can provide you a comprehensive data or reviews about one specific topic like this blog. My blog is nowhere near that level.

But, at this point of time, I still enjoy blogging very much. My blog provides me an arena for me to practice the underrated most powerfull tool in history, writing. My blog also provides me a chance to record and remind me all the lessons that I have learned throughout the last three years. Then, I enjoy so much travelling from one blog to another, amazed by number of damn-good writers out there. Some of them [3] have become my favourite which I contionuously monitor for update.

Next year, around the same time, I will post another similar post liek this one while looking back what I have done for the past one year.

..and I'll continue blogging and have freaking opinion about anything......

[1] I do not think there is a such thing as passion with reasonable amount. Passion is unreasonable.
